Holy Shit Mother Fucker!!!
GASP!!! Double GASP!!
“Defy” is one hell of a fucktastic, mouth watering forbidden romance like no other!!! Shit L.J. Shen had me from the Fucken start! She pulled me in with, that oh so sultry energy. Just seemed to enhance the pace of the story.
Plus it never fails that L.J. Shen seems to throw in some comic relief and badass alpha in the mix. Then that I don't give a flying fuck attitude her characters. Just brings a realism to them as well.
But that brilliant sarcasm and banter is truly the key to this story. Which melds oh so perfectly with that over the top heat. HOLY HELL the HEAT!!
Your panties will be wrecked and you will need a cold shower. Case in point that scene with Jamie's TOES!! Dear god!!! It can make any grown woman come to her knees. Blush!!!
But even will all of that, the you still feel engaged with Melody and Jamie. You come to love the relationship and cheer for that HEA.
